The program has been designed as universal product for security cross platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical appearance and functionality on the local and apart workstations. Customers view MPEG coded picture and have full management of the software through net that surveillance pc can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure drastically increases reliability because all components work as independent programs. If one part fails, other parts go on running. For example if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` unit. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on distant station via Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
