SINOPSIS
Star Wars: The Clone Wars es una serie de televisión de animación lanzada por primera vez Cartoon Network en octubre de 2008. La serie se situa entre los eventos de Star Wars Episodio II: El Ataque de los Clones y Star Wars Episodio III: La Venganza de los Sith, y cubre el mismo marco temporal de la serie Star Wars: Las Guerras Clon de 2003 y el resto de historias contadas em el Proyecto multimedia Guerras Clon. La serie enfatiza en los diversos conflictos entre la República Galáctica y la Confederación de Sistemas Independientes, que son manipulados por el Canciller Supremo Palpatine como Darth Sidious, quien planea convertir al caballero Jedi Anakin Skywalker en su siguiente aprendiz Sith. El modo de producción es alta definición y tiene una duración de unos 22 minutos por episodio al igual que las antiguas series de animación Star Wars: Droids y Star Wars: Ewoks.
