HitmanPro 3.7.8 + Patch
HitmanPro 3.7.8, formerly Hitman Pro, is a fast All-in-One tool to locate, identify
and remove viruses, spyware, trojans, rootkits and other malware. HitmanPro 3.7.8 will
quickly show if your PC is infected with malicious software. Research shows that
many computers are infected, even if they have an up-to-date security suite installed,
and that a combination of different anti malware programs would be required to prevent infection.
HitmanPro 3.7.8 uses innovative cloud computing techniques to detect and remove potential
malware threats with minimal impact on system performance. A further benefit of this
technology is that you need never again download definitions on a hourly / daily basis
as this is all managed in the cloud further reducing the impact on your PC.
Changes in 3.7.8 Build 207:
- FIXED: Kickstart now recognizes all 'SanDisk Cruzer' USB flash drives as removable drives; new SanDisk Cruzer
- USB-sticks have their fixed disk bit set instead of removable drive.
- FIXED: A problem related to outputting number of detected files and traces
- FIXED: Detection of Sophos SafeGuard MBR boot loader.
- IMPROVED: Forensics-based universal detection of the Sinowal/Torpig Trojan.
- UPDATED: Embedded white lists.
Installation Instructions:
1] Extract archive with WinRAR/7Zip.
2] Install HitmanPro, obviously...
3] Copy the patch (which matches your system type) to install folder of HitmanPro (usually C:Program FilesHitmanPro) and run it.
4] Enjoy!
Note: You can apply patch on downloaded setup file if you want to install or perform one-time scan.
