DESCRIPTION
The show follows a crime, ususally adapted from current headlines, from two separate vantage points. The first half of the show concentrates on the investigation of the crime by the police, the second half follows the prosecution of the crime in court.

Series Plot: In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate, yet equally important, groups: the police, who investigate crime and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.
Episode plot: Lupo and Green investigate after a white teenager (David Kendall) and a young black girl (Tanya Anderson) are shot and killed in a local neighborhood. The investigation stalls when no one is willing to talk, but the detectives later learn that the victim had earlier had an altercation with someone in the neighborhood that led to a surprising altercation later that evening.
