原盘的质量让人眼前一黑，原生分辨率约为 947.5p。由于每话的源大小只有 5GB 上下，画面整体有各种欠码瑕疵和巨大色带，超重噪点的 ED1 更是属于药石无灵的状况。此外制作方在色彩转换时似乎处理不当，导致色度平面偶有条纹状的瑕疵。让问题恶化的是夏日重现精细的作画，独特的线条风格以及大量的暗场，导致处理手段和力度有很大的掣肘。
The quality of the source is so poor that it’s almost unbearable, with a native resolution of approximately 947.5p. Given that the source size of each episode is only around 5GB, the overall image is riddled with various artifacts related to bit-rate lacking and significant banding. The ED1, which is heavily laden with noise, is beyond repair. Moreover, it seems that the production team mishandled the color conversion, resulting in occasional stripe-like defects in the chroma planes. The situation is exacerbated by the intricate animation, unique line style, and numerous dark scenes in “Summer Time Rendering”, which pose significant constraints on the methods and intensity of processing.
我们采用了新算法应对巨大色带，并且重构了色平面，尽量减少去色带处理对纹理细节的损伤。另一方面，我们也微调了逆向拉伸重构和去锯齿处理的力度来保护线条风格。
We have adopted a new algorithm to tackle the significant banding and have reconstructed the chroma planes to minimize the damage to texture details caused by de-banding. On the other hand, we have also fine-tuned the intensity of the descaling and reconstruction, and anti-aliasing processes to preserve the line style.
