ENG: Mario and Memmo are two business partners who have no doubts about the fidelity of their unattractive wives and tend to indulge in escapades. Mario invites a girl he met in Milan, Silvana, to his town, with whom they both fall in love. Memmo's wife, extremely jealous, gives her husband no peace, while Mario's wife appears almost indifferent. This arouses the suspicions of Mario, who thinks his wife is cheating on him; and precisely with Memmo! In reality Mario's wife secretly goes to see her own mother, who eventually resolves this intricate situation, allowing the two to return in peace to their wives and Silvana to return to Milan.

Mario invita nella sua città una ragazza conosciuta a Milano, Silvana, della quale si innamorano entrambi. La moglie di Memmo, gelosissima, non dà pace al marito, mentre la moglie di Mario appare quasi indifferente. Ciò desta i sospetti di Mario, il quale pensa che la moglie lo tradisca; e proprio con Memmo! In realtà la moglie di Mario va a trovare di nascosto la propria madre, che alla fine risolverà tale intricata situazione, permettendo ai due di tornare in pace dalle proprie mogli e a Silvana di tornare a Milano.
