Global conflict. Threats of nuclear war. The sudden appearance of a meteor. Amidst the fear of impending doom, the Resurrection Project is conceived.
Threats of armed conflict are spreading around the globe. A new one seems to erupt every week. The growing conflict between China, India, Pakistan, and Taiwan is of the utmost concern, and the war between Ukraine and Russia has spilled into bordering countries. All that’s needed is a spark to set off the latest round of conflicts.
With all that about to explode around the world, the discovery of a meteor on a collision course with Earth still a year and a half away is not the greatest concern on President Alexander Crane’s long list of problems. But as the world holds its breath, waiting for that one last instigating event that ignites global conflict, the meteor rushes onward, only drawing the attention it deserves on a temporary basis.
When the realization that the inevitable collision with Earth will likely destroy much of mankind, a desperate plan is born to save as many people as possible in the hope of resurrecting humanity sometime after the impact. But will it be enough or even in time?
Site 101: Book 1 (#2)
Can humanity resurrect twenty-five years after the devastation of a planet-killing meteor strike?
For twenty-five years, DeVante Adams has been in stasis deep in a cave known as Site 101. He, along with two thousand others, wait for the day when they might be revived and begin the process of rebuilding the human race. When he is awakened to spend a year overseeing the facility, DeVante discovers that the frozen land outside has begun to warm, leading to eager speculation of a return to the surface. However, something has inhabited the cave above where they reside.
The site has lost all contact with the other resurrection sites. Most of their external sensors and cameras were destroyed over time, so there’s little information about what they may face should they venture out into the cold. However, no exploration can be accomplished without first clearing out the unknown species of creatures inhabiting the cave.
With the possibility of going outside for the first time since the meteor strike, a small force is brought out of stasis… But what will they discover? Is the world ready to be occupied again or are there other obstacles besides the freezing weather and strange creatures to prevent humanity’s return?
Site 101: Book 2 (#3)
Strange deadly creatures. Wild violent beings. Alien invaders. Unusual allies. For twenty-five years, DeVante dreamed about walking the surface again. Now he wasn’t sure he ever wanted to again.
Lieutenant DeVante Adams had become a living legend amongst the survivors of Site 101. His daring, often suicidal rescues had saved many lives and earned the respect of those who served under him. However, some now fear him for those same actions, knowing what he is capable of.
On his last mission to rescue abducted personnel, he also brought back people from another site. Eagle Cave, or Site 98, had been attacked by aliens and some of their people were taken. During the battle, the aliens collapsed the cave entrance, trapping thousands of people inside.
DeVante is asked to lead a rescue team, but when he arrives, he discovers that aliens and a cave-in aren’t the only trouble plaguing the cave system. They are under attack, but with the cave blocked, his team is trapped on the outside. With time running out on his team’s ability to keep the threat at bay, their lives now depend on another of DeVante’s mad schemes.
