When a dead sailor is found the team investigates. They learn he was going through SEAL training and he went UA. They learn from his instructor that he failed at an exercise wherein he was tied and submerged. They think he was going to quit. But they later learn the instructor tried to make him do the exercise but still panicked. So the instructor told him to go work out whatever issue he has. They assume his issue was in New Orleans. They learn he went to see Hamilton but Hamilton brushed him off. Pride talks to Hamilton who says he remembered him when he played basketball. Pride thinks he's not telling him everything. So they continue digging into his past. Loretta's son informs her that he's not going to college as they discussed but instead is going to enlist in the Navy. Loretta wants Pride to talk him out of it. And Chris is evading one of his exes, she eventually finds him and tells him why she's looking for him.
