Series Plot: City of God: The Fight Rages On takes place two decades after the events of the highly acclaimed film "City of God." City of God: The Fight Rages On is an adapted continuation of the literary work by Paulo Lins, and will follow the story of its characters, starting with the work of the photographer Buscapé. Set in the early 2000s, the series includes excerpts from the film as flashbacks to reconstruct the protagonists' memories.
Episode plot: As tensions rise, Wilson meets Lígia, a reporter from Spain looking to investigate corruption in the City of God. Later, Leka questions whether her father's photographs are exploitative, Barbantinho tries to set up a face-to-face with Curió and Bradock, and Berenice fights to keep her boyfriend Clayton, aka "PQD," away from crime.
