Office Tab Enterprise is a new version of a small but very useful utility. The principle of Office Tab is relatively simple, but no less effective - the windows of open documents are displayed in the interface of office applications, like tabs of open pages in modern browsers. The Office Tab utility eliminates one of the few shortcomings of the Microsoft Office package - the lack of an intuitive tool for working with a large number of open documents. Although Opera Software implemented the tab mechanism in its browser quite a long time ago, Microsoft implemented the same approach only in its Internet Explorer browser, but not in other applications. The problem of working with numerous open documents is now partially solved by the improved interface of the Windows 7 environment, but the Office Tab utility eliminates the aforementioned shortcoming at its root - each application from the Office series (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Project and Visio) gets its own set of tabs for all open documents.
Features of Office Tab Enterprise:
Save all files in one click. The key advantage of Office Tab is that you can save time by consolidating your actions! For example, if you have several files open, in order to save them, you do not need to save and close them individually, just click the "Save All" button from the context menu, and all your files will be saved. Want to close all open files? Just select "Close All" and all your files will be closed.
Manage documents in groups. In the Office Tab, you can add a saved Microsoft Office file to a group. You can quickly open a group of documents, such as a group of Excel files.
Easily rename files. You don't have to open the Save As dialog box to rename a file. Just click the Rename button in the context menu on the tab and enter a new file name. If you want to save the file in a different folder, select Save As from the context menu.
Show the full file name. If the file name is long, usually the Windows taskbar will only show a small part of it, which is often a problem. However, with Office Tab installed, you will be able to see the full file name on the tab bar, no matter how long it is.
Functional context menu. Right-click on a tab or tab bar to access the tab's context menu. Office Tab also combines some common elements of Microsoft Office commands, allowing you to access these commands much faster.
