DESCRIPTION
Follows the lives of 6 young, 20-something women that work in New York City's hippest art galleries. By day they juggle the stresses of their demanding bosses, maneuver through the complicated world they find themselves in and struggle to figure out how to get ahead in a business with so few opportunities to rise up the ranks. By night they are out at the hippest clubs, bars and art scene functions as they juggle their personal friendships, romantic relationships and art world acquaintances. For all these girls, their love for NYC is unwavering but their footing in the art world is anything but solid. Is this what they really want? Will they be able to survive in this business?
Series Plot: Bravo's Gallery Girls is a docu-series that follows the lives of seven dynamic and ambitious young women in New York City who tackle the cutthroat environment of the art world while vying for their dream jobs. From gallery openings and art shows to the hottest events in the city, the women share a passion for art -- but are divided between their Manhattan and Brooklyn lifestyles with vastly different views and tastes towards fashion, art, and men. Attempting to juggle a chic and fabulous standard of living, the ladies tackle financial struggles, family issues, and the pressures of jump starting their lives in the city that never sleeps.
Episode plot: The morning after the End of Century Opening, Claudia arrives to find everything a complete mess and to make matters worse, Chantal shows up two hours late. Maggie returns to Eli's gallery to complete her internship, and he doesn't waste any time with assigning her tedious tasks -- forcing Liz to question why she puts up with him. All of the ladies run into each other at an art auction, will they be able to mix their Brooklyn vs. Manhattan lifestyles?
