О фильме:

Все началось 13 лет назад с ущемленного «достоинства» Теда, хронического неудачника, постоянно ставящего себя в комические ситуации: он настолько труслив, что способен вывести из себя собственного психиатра, настолько нелеп, что способен в самый ответственный момент прищемить свое мужское достоинство брючной молнией.

Этому недотепе не особенно везет в жизни, но зато однажды повезло в любви: когда ему было 17, он встретил Мэри. Они собирались на школьную вечеринку, но тут как раз и произошел неприятный случай с молнией, положивший конец их роману.

И вот, спустя 13 лет, Тед нанимает частного детектива Пэта для розыска женщины своей мечты. Мэри обладает фантастическим даром очаровывать всех окружающих ее мужчин. Ее шарм и обаяние заставляют их бросаться в бескомпромиссную борьбу за сердце красавицы….
