Taper's Notes:

Couldn't have a better title for this one, that's for sure! ;)

When the 2nd leg of the Time Machine Tour was announced, this show started out

to be the only show on my itinerary, although a few days before the show

itself the decision was made to add Chicago, which was released the next day

after that show. When this show first went on sale for the fanclub pre-sale

I wasn't expecting much as even those ticket selections had gone downhill after

the S&A tour. But the Ticket Gods were looking down upon me and the first

search on the pre-sale for me came up with front row in front of Geddy and

here are the results of that blessing :)

Before going inside, I had called the venue and they said regular cameras

were not a problem, although I may have seemed to be taking too many photos

for at least one person ;) When I got to my seat and got a wristband to

remain up against the railing I noticed a couple guys to my right were

very much fanboys of Geddy, they were a bit drunk and were already letting

it be known how much they were in love with him ;) So I proceeded to ask

them if they wanted to move onto the other side of me to be even closer

to their God and they were happy campers indeed and so was I :) Not only

did this move them away from me as they were no longer facing me, but it

also moved me directly in front of the stage rim PA speaker...... :)

I will let the sound on this one speak for itself, sometimes there are just

not words to describe these things ;) At times you can here the Geddy fanboys

letting Ged know just how much they adore him, which is kind of funny at times

and other than a few yelps for the right side of me at other times, it's not

bad at all given where I was, any crowd participation just adds to the feel.

The Moving Pictures live segment (disc 2) is pretty mind-blowing and some

great renditions of some older stuff, especially Polka La Villa and Reggae

Working Man!! :)

A very, very special thanks to SiriusJoe for mastering this puppy and nailing

it to the wall !!! If it wasn't for him this would just be another show on an

archive disc, so all credit goes to him for making it happen :)
