Ys I & II Chronicles+ is the most modern a re-release of the classic Action RPG released by Nihon Falcom in 1987 - 1988. See how this story began and witness the birth of a legend! The basis and plot of the game is based on Ys I & II Eternal Complete. In the game you can choose from 4 difficulty levels, from “easy” to “nightmare”. Once the level has started, you cannot change your choice. While exploring the different worlds of Ys I and Ys II, players are given a unique option: switching between 3 different soundtracks, which can be activated at any time. The re-arranged version features live instrumentals from Falcom's own band; the other two soundtracks are a synth version from a 2001 PC game and the original chiptune soundtrack recorded in 1987 and 1988. The game world is filled with puzzles and vast areas in which enemies and non-player characters present unique dialogues, in the spirit of classic RPGs of the past.
