DESCRIPTION
A young chef from the fine dining world returns to Chicago to run his family's sandwich shop.
The Bear è una serie tv statunitense creata da Christopher Storer (Ramy) e incentrata su Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, un giovane chef interpretato dal veterano di Shameless Jeremy Allen White. Da tempo nel mondo della ristorazione più raffinata, Carmy torna a casa, a Chicago, per gestire la paninoteca italiana di famiglia, "The Original Beef of Chicagoland", dopo uno straziante lutto in famiglia - il suicidio del fratello maggiore, il quale si è lasciato dietro debiti, una cucina fatiscente e uno staff indisciplinato.
In un mondo lontano da quello a cui era abituato, Carmy deve affrontare la dura realtà della gestione di una piccola impresa, il suo personale di cucina ostinato e riluttante, oltre ai suoi tesi rapporti familiari, il tutto affrontando le conseguenze del suicidio del fratello. Mentre lotta per trasformare sia "The Original Beef of Chicagoland" che se stesso, Carmy lavora al fianco di una squadra di cucina un po' sopra le righe che alla fine si rivela essere la famiglia che ha scelto.
