DESCRIPTION
After the death of one of the rich and popular Blossom twins on the 4th of July, the small town of Riverdale investigates the murder. The series starts in September, the beginning of a new school year, that brings with it new students, relationships, and reveals the mysteries of the past 4th of July.
Series Plot: Riverdale is a bold, subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica and their friends from the comics, exploring the surreality of small-town life - the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome facade.
Episode plot: Veronica sets up a screening at the Babylonium after Julian gets his hands on a stag film and invites Archie, Reggie and the guys over for a watch party. Betty unexpectedly reunites with Polly and learns about her sister's new life in New York. Elsewhere, Jughead goes to war with Dr. Werthers over his censure of comic books.
