Red 2 è un film del 2013 diretto da Dean Parisot, sequel di Red. L’ex agente della CIA Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) si gode la sua nuova vita al fianco della fidanzata Sarah Ross (Mary-Louise Parker). Sebbene l’amico Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich) lo avverta dell’imminente pericolo che sta per incombere, Moses si rifiuta di pensare al peggio. Ma quando Boggs rimane vittima dell’esplosione della sua macchina, l’ex agente non può più ignorare di essere diventato un bersaglio. L’FBI decide di interrogare Moses sulla morte dell’amico ma l’incontro è interrotto da Jack Horton (Neal McDonough), che prende d’assalto la sede dell’agenzia. L’uomo vuole ottenere cruciali informazioni su Notte Fonda, ovvero una testata nucleare che gli ex agenti piazzarono in Russia durante la Guerra Fredda.
