DESCRIPTION
Twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed, Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. The Last of Us è una serie tv statunitense basata sull'omonimo videogame di successo sviluppato da Naughty Dog per PlayStation. Creato dall'ideatore di Chernobyl Craig Mazin e dall'autore e direttore creativo del franchise Neil Druckmann, il drama post-apocalittico si svolge due decenni dopo la distruzione della civiltà moderna a causa di un fungo parassita che ha infettato anche gli esseri umani, mutandoli in creature mostruose. Joel (interpretato dalla star di The Mandalorian Pedro Pascal), un sopravvissuto temprato e tormentato da traumi e fallimenti passati, viene incaricato di far uscire Ellie (Bella Ramsey, Il Trono di Spade), un'orfana di 14 anni immune all'infezione, da una zona di quarantena sotto stretta sorveglianza.
