DESCRIPTION

Trama:
Pinocchio, il film d'animazione in stop-motion diretto da Guillermo del Toro e Mark Gustafson, è tratto dalla famosa fiaba per bambini di Carolo Collodi. Ambientato nell'Italia degli anni '30, mentre imperversava il fascismo di Benito Mussolini, il film segue la storia di Pinocchio, un burattino di legno che straordinariamente prende vita grazie al desiderio del padre, il vecchio falegname Geppetto. Quest'ultimo ha costruito la piccola marionetta di legno in ricordo del figlio perso, ma quando Pinocchio prende vita è desideroso di diventare un bambino in carne e ossa. Peccato che il burattino non sia affatto un ragazzo esemplare e combini ogni sorta di guaio, coinvolgendo il povero Geppetto.
Proprio per non causare più problemi al padre, Pinocchio insieme a Sebastian, un grillo parlante che viveva nel tronco da dove lui è stato ricavato, intraprende un viaggio per cercare il suo posto nel mondo...
