Space, the final frontier. Wait, wrong show.
Rebecca is an up an coming B-Tuber. On her quest to make an interesting video for once, she ends up on an abandoned carnival planet. But it's not really abandoned. Among the robots still inhabiting it, she meets the only human on the planet: Shiki. Shki's always dreamed of adventure, but had no way of getting off the planet. Plus, what would happen to his robot buddies if the wasn't there to do maintenance on them? But an unfortunate event leads him to leave the planet and travel with Rebecca. And so starts the legend of the Demon Lord Shiki.
Fairy Tail in space. Well, that's what you probbaly expect. But it's not quite so. While it shares a lot with the previous creation of Mashima (hello, not-Erza and not-Jellal) it's really quite different. For one think, the power of friendship doesn't work so well in this series. Sadly, this show has something missing. I don't know exactly what, but it just doesn't bring the hype the way FT did. Big part of that is the score. It's just... plain. Nothing special. FT had some of the best music in any anime. Sannin no Dragon Slayers still gets me pumped up.
Subtitles are from various sources. Because this was in Netflix jail. Also, the clean 1st opening and ending were not on the disks. I suspect because they were shown for free on Youtube. So I included the Youtube rips, because I wanted them in. Also, I have a suspicion that Mashima likes feet and ryona.
