DESCRIPTION
After crooked cop Lieutenant "Dutch" Dixon kills his girlfriend and frames him for murder, Reno Raines escapes from jail and goes on the run. Teaming up with Bobby Sixkiller and Cheyenne Phillips, Reno works as a bounty hunter while searching for the only man who can clear his name.

Reno Raines è un agente di polizia che lavora a San Diego e viene chiamato dal suo amico Harry Wells, procuratore di Bay City, per indagare su alcuni agenti corrotti in quella città. Trasferitosi, Reno raccoglie prove contro l’agente Burrell e ne parla con Harry ed il tenente locale “Dutch” Dixon, senza sapere che è anch’egli corrotto. Dixon e Burrell fanno evadere un criminale affinché uccida Reno, ma l’attentato fallisce; Dixon elimina allora Burrell incolpando Reno, per farlo uccidere appena sarà in prigione. Tuttavia il cacciatore di taglie “Bobby” Sixkiller, assunto da Dixon, si convince dell’innocenza di Reno e rifiuta di consegnarlo, assumendolo invece come socio. Cambiata identità, assumendo lo pseudonimo di “Vince Black”, Reno lavora quindi come cacciatore di taglie, cercando nel frattempo di dimostrare la sua innocenza.
