Episode: Our Little Island Girl: Part 2 (6x6)
Episode Plot:
Thanksgiving is approaching. In his new reality of co-parenting with Madison while trying to be supportive in her relationship with Elijah, Kevin, in the importance of the holiday to him, invites Madison to the cabin for the regular Pearson family Thanksgiving there so that he can be near the twins, and in the process invites Elijah solely in showing that support. In the process, he places Kate in an awkward position in her friendship with Madison, Kate who already has domestic problems of her own. Beth, in her role as the dance academy's recruiter, which includes overseeing the scholarship program, is nervous for the new class of fifteen in their first recital, as nervous as if she was preparing to dance herself. Beth finds there is one student, Stacey, who may require more hand holding in the doubts about her place in the academy. Kevin, Kate and Beth's current experiences hearken back to an approach to Thanksgiving late the previous millennium, one where Kevin and Sophie made an early return to Pittsburgh for the holidays from their respective bases of Los Angeles and New York, this the first that Rebecca invited "a boyfriend", Matt, to join them, and in Beth and Randall running into her old dance instructor, Vincent.

DESCRIPTION
Rebecca Pearson once had a difficult pregnancy with triplets. The resulting births occurred on the same day as her husband Jack Pearson's thirty-sixth birthday. The lives of Rebecca, Jack and their three offspring - Kevin, Kate and Randall - are presented at different points in time. The Rebecca and Jack stories generally take place during the early stage of their marriage, surrounding the birth of the three children, or at different phases of the children's upbringing, which was not always smooth sailing for any of the five. Separate stories concerning Kevin, Kate and Randall are also presented in their adult years, each who has his or her own baggage resulting from that upbringing: Kevin who was generally the neglected one because he had no outward issues; Kate who has always had weight issues; and Randall, the gifted one, being the visible outsider and being the "non-K" child. These stories may demonstrate the emotional ties that exist not only because of being family, but also because of four of them having the same birthday and some of them having always been together, meaning since conception.
Stars: Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson
Series Plot: Sometimes life will surprise you. This refreshingly honest and provocative series follows a unique ensemble whose paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways. We find several of them share the same birthday, and so much more than anyone would expect. From the writer and directors of "Crazy, Stupid, Love" comes a smart, modern dramedy that will challenge your everyday presumptions about the people you think you know.
