DESCRIPTION
Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and Savant syndrome, is recruited into the surgical unit of a prestigious hospital.
Lo show narra le vicende di Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), un giovane medico specializzando in chirurgia, affetto da autismo e dalla sindrome del savant, nato in una cittadina del Wyoming, dove ha vissuto un’infanzia complessa. Sotto la guida del suo mentore, il Dottor. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff), deciderà così di trasferirsi e di unirsi al prestigioso dipartimento di chirurgia di San Jose, il St. Bonaventure Hospital, nella California del Nord.
La quarta stagione si è conclusa con il successo della missione chirurgica in Guatemala. Claire (Antonia Thomas) ha accettato il lavoro in Guatemala, mentre Audrey (Christina Chang) ha confessato di soffrire di PTSD e si è aperta ad una nuova relazione. Nel frattempo Lea (Paige Spara) ha scelto di restare a San Jose e ha chiesto a Shaun (Freddie Highmore) di sposarla.
