The almost complete BBC Radio collection of Hercule Poirot adaptations.
All but the first two of the stories star John Moffatt as Hercule Poirot.
In The Mystery of the Blue Train, Maurice Denham is Poirot & Peter Sallis takes over in Hercule Poirot’s Christmas.
I’m missing only one story, Dumb Witness. For some reason it never gets repeated. I’ve found downloadable copies doing the rounds, but they’ve either been mono or very low bitrate with poor sound quality so I haven’t included it here.
All the stories are encoded by me from the highest quality iPlayer streams with just two exceptions.
Appointment with Death & After the Funeral I recorded over 15 years ago before the iPlayer (BBC Sounds) was a thing. Back then the highest quality source for stereo BBC Radio 7 (as it was then) was a Freeview TV PVR for mp2 at 160kbps.
These two programmes therefore sound a bit mushy in comparison. Nothing horrible, think Audible’s 22.5khz 64kbps files and you’ll understand what these two are like.
