DESCRIPTION

When anti-death-penalty activist David Gale is convicted and condemned to death for the murder of a colleague, reporter Bitsey Bloom sets out to learn the story behind Gale's crime. What she finds challenges her belief in Gale's guilt and, finally, in the justice system.

Trama :

David Gale è uno stimato ed irreprensibile insegnante di filosofia, che assieme alla collega Constance Harraway si batte per l'abolizione della pena di morte. Ma viene condannato alla pena capitale dopo essere stato incriminato per lo stupro e l'omicidio della collega.

Tre giorni prima di essere giustiziato, Gale decide di rilasciare un'intervista all'ambiziosa giornalista Bitsey Bloom. La giornalista, non convinta della colpevolezza di Gale, decide di indagare per scoprire cosa è successo realmente la notte dell'omicidio di Constance Harraway, dando vita ad una lotta contro il tempo prima che David Gale venga giustiziato.
