The story of this game is taken between the Sands of Time and Warrior Within. And from the sand that was out monsters are hideous skulls. The only way to stop it is to combine the two pieces of Medallion, it becomes one. Medallion and pieces it was Prince who can protect and Malik when separated. However, his brother, Malik, who was so obsessed by POWER, do not want to unify the Medallion.
