Episode Plot:
After attempting to enlist the help of his opinionated "friends" (roommates Darren and Tim), Ben quickly discovers that making a web series will be more difficult than he originally thought. He mulls over the future of the now hit television series "Little White Lies" ( a show he was starring in until the end of the previous season when his character was abruptly and unexpectedly killed off...), and he discusses his web series idea with his roommate, Alex (who was just cast in a show himself). Between Ben's own issues of rejection, the egotistical duo of Tim and Darren, Alex's maniacal ex-girlfriend (fresh out of rehab) as well as Alex's unenlightened attempts at helping Ben get back on his feet, Ben struggles to maintain his own sanity and stay afloat as a small fish in a very big pond that is Los Angeles.

Series Plot: Buffering follows Iain, a children's TV presenter with an aversion to kids and in an up and down relationship (mainly down) with TV producer Olivia. Iain's housemates Rosie, Greg, Ashley and Thalia, alongside Ashley's old flame Robbie, are all navigating that age where they're too old for nightclubs but too poor for mortgages. Part of a generation who are told they must live the perfect life, these friends discover it's not only ok but healthy to fail, over and over again.
Episode plot: After recently breaking up with Olivia, Iain launches himself into the dating scene, while Greg naively enlists Thalia to help him to sext his girlfriend Ashley, and Rosie plays scrabble with her dead boss.
