Adobe provides Photoshop software for professional photo editing and Bridge software for managing and organizing images in a comprehensive manner; But the next generation Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software, called Adobe Lightroom, provides both image management and editing capabilities for photographers and designers in the same environment. Editing in this program is done as Non-Destructive or non-destructive and the original file remains unchanged. The original idea for the software was developed by an Adobe developer in 2002 and was eventually completed, including the capabilities of the ImageReady software.
