Parted Magic relies on GParted and Parted for creating partitions and software such as Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, Clonezilla, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc. for other needs.
Thanks to all these tools, Parted Magic supports btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16, fat32, HFS, HFS +, jfs, linux-swap, ntfs, reiserfs, reiser4 and xfs file systems.
