DESCRIPTION
TV adaptation of Aldous Huxley's book set in dystopian future.
La serie è ambientata una società utopica che ha raggiunto la pace e la stabilità attraverso il divieto della monogamia, della privacy, del denaro, della famiglia e della Storia stessa. La serie è stata girata in studio nel Galles del Sud, oltre che in alcune location intorno a Londra.
Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) e Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown-Findlay), cittadini di New London, vivono da sempre in un rigido ordine sociale. Curiosi di esplorare la vita oltre le restrizioni della loro società, i due New Worlders si imbarcano in una vacanza nelle Terre Selvagge, dove vengono coinvolti in una violenta e straziante ribellione. Bernard e Lenina vengono salvati da John il Selvaggio (Alden Ehrenreich), che fugge con loro a New London. L’arrivo di John nel Nuovo Mondo minaccia di interromperne l’utopica armonia, e costringerà Bernard e Lenina ad affrontarne le conseguenze.
