Pod koniec lat 80. ubiegłego wieku Pink Floyd opublikowało dwa wydawnictwa zatytułowane „Delicate Sound of Thunder”.

Pierwsze, z 1988 roku, to koncertowy album, na który złożyły się nagrane w sierpniu tego samego roku utwory wykonane

przez zespół w Nowym Jorku. Rok później ukazał się natomiast film koncertowy przygotowany podczas A Momentary Lapse

of Reason Tour.Właśnie poinformowano, że oba te wydawnictwa doczekają się ponownej edycji i miksu, a następnie wydane

zostaną w formie wznowienia wraz z dodatkowym materiałem. Premierę zapowiedziano na 20 listopada tego roku.
