De tweeling Rebecca en Cecil kan niet overweg met hun stiefmoeder Marissa Cortez Wilson die met hun vader Wilbur,
een verslaggever die op zoek gaat naar spionnen, is getrouwd. Wat ze echter niet weten is dat Marissa een ex-spionne is voor de
OSS (Organisatie van Super Spionnen), een organisatie die is uitgegroeid tot 's werelds beste spionnen-agentschap in het voormalig hoofdkantoor
van de ter ziele gegane Spy Kids divisie. Als de wereld bedreigd wordt door de Timekeeper wordt ze weer opgeroepen door de OSS om in actie te komen.

in elkaar te slaan met Marissa om de wereld te redden.
