Lovecraft Country è una serie horror soprannaturale creata da Misha Green (Underground) basandosi sul romanzo omonimo di Matt Ruff, prodotta per HBO da J.J. Abrams e Jordan Peele. La storia si concentra su Atticus Freeman (interpretato dall'attore di When We Rise Jonathan Majors), un uomo di colore che nell'America degli anni '50, un'epoca in cui in molti stati del Sud erano in vigore quelle dure leggi di Jim Crow che contribuirono a sistematizzare la segregazione razziale, decide di mettersi sulle tracce del padre scomparso.
