This torrent refers to a folder containing all major material available relating to the homoerotic film BLATFUGETIT originally brought out in 2007 and re-edited for the LA Gay & Lesbian film festival in 2013. This is the booklet which accompanies the BLATFUGETIT (‘page-turning’) torrent.

Two major cuts of this film are in existence, the original one made for a DVD and upload to the internet in 2011, and a second in 2013 for another DVD intended for inclusion in a gay & lesbian film festival in Hollywood.
Although the film uses potentially pornographic images they are presented in totally inappropriate frames and in an entirely artificial language. There are comic references to existing cinematic forms as well as literature, i.e. David Leavitt’s novel with gay characters called ‘Page-Turner’ and in particular the very French filmisation of this novel which casts women in the roles which should have been played by men. The 2007 film differs highly to the version I edited together in 2013; I was far more familiar with the film medium and could communicate my message about language and sexuality in a better form. BLATFUGETIT is a Disfodish noun which refers generally to the act of page-turning. It appears to be a silent film accompanied by suitable piano music; but as alternative meanings to the title are revealed and the film transforms into out-and-out pornography which deliberately defies its frame, this film begins to reveal its true message, that sex reminds us just fleetingly that we are not dead (yet)...

Original material which uses the frames of the silent-film and an artificial language to highlight the way sexual acts become the link between an individual's identity, socioculturally learnt rituals and raw, instinctive acts. The music, the text and the language it is written in are entirely original.
