DESCRIPTION

Swackhammer, owner of the amusement park planet Moron Mountain is desperate get new attractions and he decides that the Looney Tune characters would be perfect. He sends his diminutive underlings to get them to him, whether Bugs Bunny & Co. want to go or not. Well armed for their size, Bugs Bunny is forced to trick them into agreeing to a competition to determine their freedom. Taking advantage of their puny and stubby legged foes, the gang selects basketball for the surest chance of winning. However, the Nerdlucks turn the tables and steal the talents of leading professional basketball stars to become massive basketball bruisers known as the Monstars. In desperation, Bugs Bunny calls on the aid of Micheal Jordan, the Babe Ruth of Basketball, to help them have a chance at winning their freedom.

Trama :

Nell'immaginario mondo dei cartoni animati, in un pianeta alieno e posto a distanza abissale dalla Terra, Swackhammer, il proprietario di un Luna Park in declino, è costretto a cercare nuove attrazioni per richiamare il pubblico. Apprende che sulla Terra esistono i Looney Tunes, sicura fonte di spettacolo e godimento per grandi e piccini. Decide allora di inviare un gruppo di alieni per costringere i Looney a lavorare nel suo parco divertimenti.

Quando Bugs Bunny e soci si accorgono delle reali intenzioni del gruppo alieno, per salvarsi e convinti di poter sfruttare a loro vantaggio la bassa statura dei loro avversari, li sfidano ad una partita di pallacanestro. Gli alieni vengono però a conoscenza che lì, in America, giocano i migliori professionisti di tutto il mondo. Si impadroniscono così del talento dei migliori giocatori della NBA e si presentano per la sfida trasformati nelle dimensioni e muscolosissimi. L'unica speranza di vittoria per Bugs Bunny e gli altri personaggi Looney Tunes è quella di "arruolare" tra loro il più grande giocatore di ogni tempo. Michael Jordan (in carne ed ossa) si è però ritirato dalle gare di basket, ma quando viene punto sull'orgoglio accetta di giocare con i personaggi animati.
