Modern Library's 100 Best Novels is a 1998 list of the best English-language novels published in the 20th century, as selected by Modern Library from among 400 novels. The purpose of the list was to "bring the Modern Library to public attention" and stimulate sales of its books. Modern Library has been publishing classic English-language literature at affordable prices since 1917 and is now a division of Random House.
Verified ebooks with complete cover, table of contents, content separation and epub format error checking (using the "Check Book" function in Calibre to validate the ebook structure). Several of the books were created as scans to PDF but were cleaned up (in the source or by myself) and the book is in good condition. On a substantial number of the books I needed to do some editing in Calibre to reorder pages, add covers, add split pages to separate content into chapters/books/volumes. I attempted to match covers with their actual published editions. The content is unabridged.
Note: In the book comments the published date field is always the FIRST published date.
