DMDE - DMDE is an effective program for searching, editing and restoring data on disks. By using special algorithms, DMDE can restore directory structure and files in some complex cases, when other programs do not give the desired result.
DMDE has a set of free features such as disk editor, simple partition manager, image creation and cloning of disks, RAID reconstruction, file recovery from the current panel. Paid editions support recovery of files and directories without restrictions, DMDE Professional Edition also provides additional data recovery features for clients (comparison editions https://dmde.ru/editions.html).
DMDE supports NTFS/NTFS5, FAT12/16, FAT32, exFAT, Ext2/3/4, HFS+/HFSX file systems and runs https://dmde.ru/manual/setup.html on Windows 98/...XP/...7/...10, Linux, macOS, DOS (console interface).
The heuristic search algorithms of https://dmde.ru/manual/fullscan.html allow reconstructing the directory structure and recovering files after complex file system corruption, including, if some new information has been written, after formatting, moving data, or a failure during partition conversion. With minor corruptions, data can be found without fully scanning the drive.
Added file recovery by signature (Raw-search https://dmde.ru/manual/fullscan.html#raw) for cases when the file system structure cannot be used.
