Per festeggiare il suo compleanno, Frank decide con la moglie Charlotte di organizzare una festa di tre giorni nella loro lussuosa casa di Palm Beach, ospitando i loro più cari amici. Tra costoro, vi sono Leo e Billy, che con Frank una volta suonavano in una band. A completare la lista degli invitati vi sono poi: la compagna di Billy, la bella attrice Eva; Bridget e Caitlin, la moglie la figliastra di Leo; Dan ed Ella, i figli dei padroni di casa e Holy, la figlia del compianto cantante della band, che porta con sé il nuovo fidanzato allevatore di pecore.
