Storyline:
The Kim family—father Ki-taek, mother Chung-sook, daughter Ki-jeong and son Ki-woo—live during a small semi-basement apartment (banjiha), have low-paying temporary jobs, and struggle to form ends meet [ parasite jessica ] .
