DESCRIPTION
The adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok: the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the saga of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. Trama: Vikings transports us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnar Lothbrok, a Viking warrior and farmer who yearns to explore - and raid - the distant shores across the ocean.
Come annuncia il trailer, nella sesta stagione di Vikings entrambi i fratelli protagonisti dovranno risorgere dalle ceneri di un'efferata guerra: Bjorn, per mantenere alto il nome del padre, dovrà governare compiendo scelte difficili; nel frattempo Ivar intraprenderà un viaggio lungo la Via della Seta che lo condurrà in Russia dove incontrerà lo spietato e imprevedibile Oleg Il Profeta, un sovrano disposto a compiere le azioni più crudeli per rimanere al potere. Intanto Lagertha, intenzionata a condurre una vita tranquilla nella fattoria lontana da tutti, dovrà invece fare i conti con nuovi pericoli. Nella storia, inoltre, i Vichinghi contineranno a conquistare la Scandinavia mentre Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) e Torvi (Georgia Hirst) viaggeranno in Islanda per scoprire cosa si nasconde dietro alla scomparsa di Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) e Hvitserk (Marco Ilsø) porta avanti la sua vendetta personale contro Ivar.
Nel nuovo capitolo della Serie TV di History ritroveremo molti dei personaggi già conosciuti nelle stagioni precedenti; primo di tutti Bjorn che (come si intuisce dal poster ufficiale della stagione che vedete in fondo), sarà l'indiscusso protagonista della stagione. Affiancherà i volti già conosciuti, con un ruolo da ricorrente, l'attore russo Danila Kozlovsky (a sinistra nella foto in alto), interprete di Oleg Il Profeta, detto anche Oleg di Kiev o Oleg Novgorod, un principe variago che governò la Rus' di Kiev nei primi anni del X secolo. Un altro nuovo ingresso nel cast sarà quello di Eric Johnson (Cinquanta Sfumature di Nero, a destra nella foto in alto) che vestirà i panni di Erik, un formidabile guerriero che è un fuorilegge in grado di sopravvivere grazie alla scaltrezza e alle proprie abilità nel combattimento. Un'anticipazione del suo personaggio è stata data con una foto sull'account Twitter ufficiale della serie. Con molta probabilità nella stagione 6 di Vikings torneranno anche Rollo (Clive Standen) e la Principessa Gisla (Morgane Polanski) vista l'ultima volta nella stagione 4.
