Angry Birds is a puzzle video game developed by Finland-based Rovio Mobile, in which players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield. Inspired by a simple sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for Apple"s iOS in December 2009. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple"s App Store, which has prompted the company to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, including those using the Android and the Symbian^3 operating systems. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has even released stand-alone holiday versions of the game.
Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-range plans for a feature film or television series. With over 50 million downloads across all platforms, the game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now" and "one of the great runaway hits of 2010".
In Angry Birds, players take control of a flock of birds that are attempting to retrieve eggs that have been stolen by a group of evil green pigs. On each level, the pigs are sheltered by structures made of various materials such as wood, ice and stone, and the object of the game is to eliminate all the pigs in the level.
Using a slingshot, players launch the birds with the intent of either hitting the pigs directly or damaging the structures, which would cause them to collapse and kill the pigs. In various stages of the game, additional objects such as explosive crates and rocks are found in the levels, and may be used in conjunction with the birds to destroy hard-to-reach pigs.
Crush the castle 1 & 2 are flash based (swf) games which came out long before Angry birds and has a similar gameplay.
When Angry Birds was avaialble only to iPhone and Android, those were the games which Windows users could play to get a feel of the Angry Birds experience. Now that Angry birds ahas come to Windows, these games are just included for those who want to try it out.
Open it with Internet Explorer , Chrome or Firefox. If you have a standalone swf play, that would also work.
Angry Birds for Windows works as a portable software, so you don"t have to install anything. Just extract the zip file and run the program.
No need for any additional software like Intel AppUp.
For most of you, it will work just like that. No updates or setting changes necessary.

Summary of the video: Device manager > (Update Driver software) for "Monitor" and "Display Adaptor"
* The screen resolution of the game can be adjusted by editing the "config.lua" file with notepad.
For example the "width = 640" and "height = 480" for a 640 x 480 resolution. Similarly adjust for 800x600 or 1024x600.
Change "fullscreen=false" for a windowed mode. (Useful if you are playing while also surfing the internet or working on your project.)
* If you get an error about "missing dll" files, don"t worry, they are included in the torrent.
For Windows XP
- Copy " msvcr100.dll " File from angry birds to : " C:WindowsSystem32 "
Windows Vista users might come across this error
"side by side configuration is incorrect"
To fix it, install VC++ 2008 runtime redistributable package from Microsoft
For Windows 7 (64 bit) users who get errors:
Copy the " msvcr100.dll " file to " C:WindowsSysWOW64 " folder
