Mail and Mail.ru – all directly to ICQ. Messaging History Get easy access to your messaging history with each and every ICQ contact using the new history settings feature. Messaging History Tool The new history settings tool allows you to access your ICQ messaging history with each and every contact. You can also access your history from the message window. The new interface offers easy navigation and full support of your searches, whether you’re looking for a word, a phrase, group chat, an emoticon or a tZer. All history is chronological and is automatically saved. The built-in filters will assist you to quickly find what you need. New Message Window The renewed message window now offers easier access to your favorite communication options – so you can quickly move from chat to SMS, and from audio call to video chat. You can also access your messaging history, add more friends and start a multi chat or simply invite them to play on the ICQ online game center – all from the messaging window. Email Notifications Get email notifications to your ICQ from your Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Mail.ru accounts. From now on you can synchronize your mail.ru, Gmail and Yahoo! Mail accounts to receive your email notifications directly to ICQ. The notifications tab on ICQ also allows you to see who responded to your online activity in social networks. Visibility Lists ICQ 7.4 offers the comfort of choosing your status even when you are invisible to some of your contacts. You can easily enter your visibility lists and decide which contact will see you as offline if you chose the "invisible" status. While you are invisible to some, you can switch between the different invisible options and decide whether the other contacts that can see you will see you as online, busy or away. Advanced Search Search for new contacts and friends of friends, to see who your mutual friends are! The new layout makes it easier to find the contact you were looking for, and lets you know who your mutual friends are. The new layout also offers you other friends you may know, and helps you broaden your social circle. Now you have advanced search options to help you filter out unwanted or inaccurate results. You can also send a message and start a chat directly from the search result. Take a Picture The new ICQ 7.4 offers a simpler way to update your profile picture – just click on your profile picture to edit it and choose whether you want to take a photo using your webcam, upload one from your files or choose an avatar from the gallery. You can also do quick check-ups for your audio and video devices to make sure the camera, the microphone and the speakers are set properly.
