Episode: The Bachelor Party (5x11)
Episode Plot:
Rayyan and the other Muslim women in Mercy are figuratively and literally letting their hair down in Rayyan's hijab-less bridal shower. But things at the party don't go quite the way Rayyan was hoping when a man - the pizza delivery guy - infiltrates the festivities, with the unexpected consequence of Rayyan getting locked out of her own party and out of the house without her hijab, and with her arms and legs exposed. Rayyan's problem gives Sarah renewed purpose in life. Amaar is also having his bachelor party, which is planned by his best man. Despite both Nate and Thorne hoping they are the party planner (meaning that they would be named best man), the job falls to Reverend Magee, returned from his posting in Nunavut especially for the wedding. Duncan plans the perfect mix of fun and decorum suitable for a Muslim shindig, but Thorne, still reeling from not being chosen Amaar's best man and still needing to show anyone up that bests him, does whatever he can to hijack the party from under Duncan's plans. Thorne chooses an unusual activity, but Amaar uses it in an effort to build bridges between Duncan and Thorne.
