Mark^Up Tools 2.1 Build 219 is launched to be a convenient as well as professional and affordable paperless solution for marking any document, web page, form and photo! With the Microsoft XPS print-to-file driver included in Windows operating systems, a high-quality vector XPS file can be generated from any printable document, web page, form, and photo. The XPS document can then be imported into Mark^Up Tools and annotated with a variety of editing tools. Multiple layers can be created by a review team, each containing different annotations, and insert comment boxes, images, arrows, revision clouds, freestyle lines and more. Vector graphics used in the XPS format are high-resolution and allow extreme zooming for detail work. The marked file can be printed or saved as a new XPS, PDF or JPEG document. Stamps and watermarks can be created and stored for insertion on one or more pages of a multi-page document. Comments within the comment boxes can be displayed with author names and dates in a printable report that can also be exported as CSV for comment-tracking spreadsheets. Mark^Up Tools layers can be imported from other Mark^Up Tools documents (.xpsr), so libraries of commonly-used annotations can be saved and reused. Easily mark any document, web page, form or photo using Mark^Up Tools.Major Features:The ToolsThe Mark^Up Tools toolset is sophisticated enough for technical reviewers in technology companies yet easy enough to master for use for home study or photo marking.Lines, rectangles and ellipses, free-style lines and clouds with different fill patterns can easily be created on each layer. Also, plain text or multi-font text can be added, together with comments that are listed in a separate report and exportable.Photos and other image files can be added, moved and resized. For images made from forms, editable text fields can be added to the image to provide users with a "sign-off" form.Watermarks and stamps can be placed in any or all pages of the document, using different fonts and text sizes. The watermark or stamp character strings can be chosen from lists, or new ones created and added to the lists. The ArchitectureWith Mark^Up Tools' multi markup-layer architecture, each user has their own layer to place their marks isolated from other users. The user can lock his/her layer, so that no one can edit their marks. Password protection can be applied, so that by sharing the password the ability to edit the layer can be given to selected individuals.Layers and their marks can be hidden from view, helping to make an overcrowded markup easier to read on screen and in print.Layers can be organized into groups, with Individual layers belonging to a Group layer. Some commands act on all layer elements within a group. When several reviewers have marked documents simultaneously on their respective machines, all layers from the separately marked documents can be consolidated into one Mark^Up Tools document to prepare for return.Enhancements:Added Opacity control for ImagePad, TextPadAdded Rotational control for most elementsEnabled oversized text in TextPadRequirements:Supported Operating Systems: Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XPProcessor (Minimum): 1 GHz Pentium or equivalent (Recommended)RAM: 512 MB (Minimum), 1024 MB (Recommended)Display: 1024 x 768 high color, 32-bit (Recommended)
