Roman, detenuto in una prigione nelle campagne del Nevada, partecipa a un programma di riabilitazione in cui si addestrano mustang selvatici. Cerca con tutte le sue forze di trovare una connessione sia con i cavalli sia con i compagni di prigionia. Col tempo, lavorando a fianco del giovane condannato Henry e del vecchio allenatore Myles, Roman riesce ad addomesticare un cavallo particolarmente esuberante e a confrontarsi con il proprio violento passato.
Roman, detained in a prison in the Nevada countryside, participates in a rehabilitation program training wild mustangs. Try with all his strength to find a connection with both horses and fellow prisoners. Over time, working alongside the convicted young Henry and the old trainer Myles, Roman manages to tame a particularly exuberant horse and confront his own violent past.
