Nonostante un guasto alla radio di bordo, Frank Towns, comandante di un aereo della compagnia petrolifera Arabco Oil, prosegue il suo viaggio ma poi, a causa di una tempesta di sabbia, è costretto ad un atterraggio di fortuna in pieno Sahara. Despite a breakdown in the radio on board, Frank Towns, commander of an airplane of the oil company Arabco Oil, continues his journey but then, due to a sandstorm, he is forced to a makeshift landing in the middle of the Sahara. In the accident, which makes the unit unusable, two passengers die and one third is seriously injured, Gabriel, while the survivors remain with the big problem of surviving by waiting for help to arrive.
