Urca è l'ultimo erede di una famiglia di deltaplanisti. Sempre vissuto tra i monti, grande è in lui il desiderio di vedere finalmente il mare. Un giorno decide di rompere gli indugi e raggiungerlo a bordo del suo deltaplano, tuttavia una volta sopra Milano lo smog gli fa perdere l'orientamento e lo costringe a un atterragio d'emergenza all'interno di San Siro: da qui Urca, seguito dall'autista Nelson casualmente incontrato, e che ne diventa una sorta di cicerone, inizia un singolare e a tratti grottesco viaggio alla scoperta della città, dai Navigli al Pirellone e fin sotto la Metropolitana, imparando la storia meneghina e incontrando le sue eccellenze, senza tuttavia chiudere gli occhi davanti alle più pressanti problematiche cittadine del tempo.
Urca is the last heir of a family of hang-gliders. Always lived in the mountains, great is in him the desire to finally see the sea. One day he decided to break the delay and reach him aboard his hang glider, but once over Milan the smog makes him lose his bearings and forces him to an emergency landing in San Siro: from here Urca, followed by 'Nelson driver casually met, and that becomes a sort of cicerone, begins a singular and sometimes grotesque journey to discover the city, from the Navigli to Pirellone and down the subway, learning the history of Milan and meeting its excellence, without closing eyes in front of the most pressing city problems of the time.
