Head Above Water is the sixth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Avril Lavigne. Will be released on February 15, 2019 by BMG. The album will be the singer's return to the stage after the release of the previous Avril Lavigne album in 2013. Avril collaborated with such producers as Martin Jones, Peter Svensson, Matt Squire and Chad Kruger, the latter is the leader of the Canadian rock band Nickelback. The first single of the album is the song Head Above Water, which was released on September 19, 2018. The second single is the composition Tell Me It's Over, the release took place on December 12, 2018. The release of the third single Dumb Blonde - February 12, 2019.
After the release of the album ?Avril Lavigne?, Avril Lavigne announced that she was ready to work on a new album. The singer also shared in her Instagram account the process of creating new material. In an interview for ONE OK ROCK, Lavigne admitted that she wrote a lot of material, which is enough for another album. The same situation happened with the recording of the previous album
