2019-01 JAN - Calibre NIRC New Ebooks ===================================== This months (January) Torrent/library has 6,392 Books in about 5.41 Gig. This is an extremely cut down Readme file from the torrent. This many files, scream for a library organizer and machine readable catalogs, so we found a way to put a working calibre library in a torrent, along with catalogs as data files (.csv) and a program to view/search the catalog. The already imported and cleaned books in this library (from BOTH IRC Channels, and any other sources) are complete, Deduped (Even against the previous 16 months of NIRC Libraries), commonly cleaned/named, have covers, are converted to .epub format (already compressed like a zip or rar), metadata Checked/Updated (also stored in the epub itself), are polished/metadata embedded, and are all in ready to use Calibre Libraries. we are now distributing the entire calibre database as a SINGLE HUGE flat file, INSIDE the torrent. The entire calibre library (with books) is zipped and renamed to .zap (So it becomes a single file and able to be "Torrentized"), and then prefixed with "Data - ".... Just rename the huge .zap file to .zip, unzip it and you have the full working calibre library. To help organize, 2 extra data files and a view/search program, are in the main/root directory. #1 = "Catalog - NIRC 2019-01 JAN - Calibre NIRC New Ebooks", (catalog) of the contents of this months library, in AST Format (Author/Series/Title columns). #2 = "Combined NIRC Catalogs - NIRC 2017-09 thru NIRC 2019-01 - Calibre New Ebooks" which are the csv file/catalogs of all previous 16 months combined (about 81,794+ Books). These are smart csv's (first line has field/column names) and work as a flat file database. #3 = "csvfileview.exe" To view/search either the monthly or combined catalogs (or other CSV files), just open it in the file menu. It is a standalone portable/no install program included with that name, treats the .csv file as a searchable database (you can use the "Quick Filter" menu option to search for/select/display , so any text you type in can be searched for in any books catalog entry)
