Il Satellizzatore, ovvero il Danguard, è un robot trasformabile creato e progettato dal computer Urania, grazie al quale venne elaborato il piano del progetto Prometeo, volto alla ricerca e colonizzazione del decimo pianeta. Tuttavia, nel progetto iniziale del robot furono commessi degli errori, come rilevato da uno dei collaudatori, Kauban, il quale, durante i voli di addestramento effettuati sul tester "Freccia del Cielo", si rese conto che la spinta dei motori non era sufficiente a consentire la manovra di trasformazione dalla configurazione "satellizzatore" a quella del "Danguard".
The Satellite, or Danguard, is a transformable robot created and designed by the Urania computer, thanks to which the plan of the Prometeo project was elaborated, aimed at the research and colonization of the tenth planet. However, errors were made in the initial design of the robot, as noted by one of the testers, Kauban, who, during the training flights carried out on the "Freccia del Cielo" tester, realized that the thrust of the engines was not sufficient to allow the transformation maneuver from the "satellite" configuration to the "Danguard" configuration.
